In a letter of July 8, 1828 to the sisters in the house in Le Mans, the Good Father says:

“Savor, savor God along the path of life. He alone is good…

Far from his heart, all becomes bitter…

tell all the sisters this; tell also my brother and his friends.

This is my experience…Live for him…This is true happiness.”
