Pueblo de Dios, a TV channel of Televisión Española (RTVE), broadcast a programme on Sunday, 19 March, that highlighted Pope Francis' recent trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan, which has put these two war-torn countries on the map. The seeds of peace and hope pass through forgiveness and reconciliation and involve concrete gestures such as those provided by the Comboni Missionaries and the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts who have been sowing seeds for more than 50 years. The programme was called “Africa, close to the heart of the Pope” and the participants were sscc brothers and sisters.
