March 1st marks the beginning of the month of Pilgrimage to Saint Joseph in Leuven. Every morning there are several buses that stop in front of the church of Saint Michael to allow pilgrims come down to our church of San Antonio of Leuven. These pilgrimage will continue until March 19.
On March 11th we celebrated the 50th anniversary of priesthood of two Flemish brothers: Paul Eerlings and Maurits Gilissen. The Eucharist was presided by Maurits with Paul concelebrating. After Mass, we shared a cup of friendship where the two jubilarians shared with us their itinerary during these 50 years of living as religious-priests.
They were appreciated for their loyalty and their testimony of life. For the younger religious it was a testimony of following Christ.
Let us pray that God will send still abundant vocations to the Church and to the Congregation. Congratulations to our brothers for the gift of their faithfulness!
