Twelve of the Academy Ambassadors spent some time with the Sisters at Malia o ka Malu explaining the Ambassador program and just enjoying time with the Sisters, some of whom taught their mothers and grandmothers. Accompanied by Dr. Brandy Sato, President of the Academy, and Mr. Ryan Hogue, Athletic Director and coordinator of the Ambassador Program, the students presented their program which fosters leadership, speaking skills, building relationships, and developing creative links with people and the Academy. Students accompany leaders of the school—the President, principals, counselors and teachers—when they represent the school before the public. Students enjoyed being with the Sisters and the Sisters were inspired by the young ladies and assured them of prayers for their success.
