At their annual meeting, which this year was with the sisters, the Superiors of the religious communities of the Iberian Province met for two days to work on empowerment, improvements and prevention in relation to Safe Environments. The annual meeting took place in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, from February 16th to 17th, in the Sister’s house.
The meeting had two functions. The brothers were able to meet and work with Darío Mollá sj, on discernment. During the afternoon of Friday 16th and the morning of Saturday February 17th, brothers and sisters of the SSCC were accompanied by Jesús Rodríguez Torrente, head of the Advisory Service for the Offices for the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable People of the Spanish Episcopal Conference. It dealt with different aspects of training related to the prevention and protection of minors regarding Safe Environments. The Superior General, present at the meeting, presided over the final Eucharist.
