On March 19, the San José de Libertad parish celebrated its patronal feast with a procession and a Eucharist presided over by the Bishop of Merlo-Moreno, Juan José Chaparro. During this event, the new pastoral team of the Sacred Hearts was introduced, embracing the model of “solidary pastors” to promote a more synodal and welcoming Church. The Provincial Superior, Sandro Mancilla sscc, emphasized the importance of teamwork and introduced Ricardo Sotomayor sscc as the moderating pastor, accompanied by Víctor Gualán sscc and Cristian Sandoval sscc. During the celebration, the priests expressed their gratitude and commitment to the community.
Bishop Chaparro highlighted synodality as a central challenge for the Church, appreciating the support of the Sacred Hearts in this journey. Pastoral agent Marcela Spagnoletti stressed the importance of building this new stage together through collaborative work.
The event also marked the 25th anniversary of San José Secondary School, whose educational community actively participated in the Eucharist. The arrival of the new team represents an opportunity to strengthen the parish mission and continue growing in unity.
