The CIAL Executive Committee held its second virtual meeting on Friday 12th April.
There were two important items on the agenda. The first had to do with the Executive Committee's Strategic Plan for Animation, which could become a road map for the animation of the CIAL over the next three years. With the contribution of the brothers we have received, we hope to present the definitive text for its anpproval and, above all, its practical implementation. The second point concerns, in the context of the next General Chapter, the matter of CIAL candidates for the General Government. For this purpose, we have worked on a basic act of reflection to serve as a guideline for this process. The aim is to have real candidates who are willing to take up service in the General Government. We were also reminded that each Conference should present to the Chapter two candidates who meet the requested criteria in such a way as to ensure that the sensitivities of the Congregation are represented.
Finally, to help CIAL to reflect on this, the Executive Committee and the delegates from each Province and Region who will attend the General Chapter will meet on May 24th.
