The Pontifical Catholic University of Chile has appointed our brother Sergio Silva sscc, of the Province of Chile-Argentina, as Emeritus Professor of the Faculty of Theology. With this honour, the Faculty now has six emeritus professors in its history.
This is a more than deserved recognition of Professor Silva, who, according to the University, has been a guide in the study and teaching of theology, for more than 50 years. His commitment and dedication to the University and his impact on the Church are exemplary. For Sergio, who sees this appointment as a gift, has embraced it with joy.
