The town council of Divisa Alegre, Minas Gerais (Brazil), held a special session on 18 December to award the title of Honorary Citizen of Divisa Alegre to Jorge Felipe de Oliveira Campos sscc.
Jorge Felipe de Oliveira Campos was ordained priest in 2021. He worked as an assistant priest in the parish of Nossa Senhora do Desterro, Rio de Janeiro. In 2022, he came to the Diocese of Araçuaí for a new mission of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts. At present, he carries out his pastoral work in the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. In the short time he has been in the parish, he has promoted the remodelling of the parish church.
