He was born on 14 August 1931 in Fussingen (Westerwald), son of Josef Becker and Klara Becker, née Heep.
On 21 August 1949, Josef Becker entered the novitiate of the Fathers of Arnstein in Burgbrohl, where, on 22 August 1950, he concluded his novitiate with temporary vows and received the religious name "Joachim."
Fr. Joachim Becker was ordained a priest on 9 October 1955 in Valkenburg, the Netherlands.
Fr. Joachim Becker passed away on Sunday, 16 August 2026, in Werne, at the age of 95.
