Young people from Spain on the way to World Youth Day in Poland! First they went to Poitiers, then to Picpus where they visited historical sites of the Congregation and finally they set down in Louvain, July 23-24. The group is composed of 28 youth.
Brothers José Luis Pérez and Juan Carlos Tinjaca met them when they arrived. José gave a talk on Damien, and Juan Carlos explored Damien’s trek in life. Juan also lead the youth in adoration in the crypt. They celebrated Sunday Eucharist in the crypt and Camille Sapu presided. Sunday afternoon, they visited the city of Brussels.
They were happy with their visit to Louvain, a place so important to us. Many were touched by the life of Damien. The "Damiaan Vandag" Center and the International community of Louvain wishes them an excellent experience with the other youth of the world. May they really be happy as the theme of the World Youth Day in Cracow urges.
