The Sisters of the Sacred Hearts in Ecuador and Colombia begin their First Provincial Chapter

With joy we begin the First Provincial Chapter of the Ecuador-Colombia Province of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts!

This is a time of listening, discernment, and important decisions that will mark the journey of our Congregation in these lands. We are gathered at the Santo Domingo Religious Services Centre, a place that welcomes us with peace and fraternity.

We are accompanied with love and closeness by Patricia Villarroel, ss.cc., Superior General, and Susana Villarreal, ss.cc., Vicar General. We also have the fraternal presence of Nilo Pinzón, ss.cc., and the guidance of Fr. Marco Bayas, CM, as facilitator.

We are 16 chapter sisters, gathered with hope to seek God's will together. We began this journey with the celebration of the Eucharist, source of unity and mission.

May the Spirit guide us and the Sacred Hearts inspire us in every decision.

To the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Honour and Glory!
