On the evening of Sunday the 23rd of July, the 25 participants of the international meeting of coordinators of the sectors of the Secular Branch gathered in the “Residence of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts” in El Escorial to begin this very significant meeting for the Secular Branch in this year of the 200th anniversary of the approbation of the Secular Branch.
The 5 members of the Spiritual Animation Team of the Secular Branch are also present as well as some members of the Madrid Sector of the Secular Branch, who are helping in the infrastructure of the meeting.
Monday 24th was dedicated to integrating games with a series of dynamics and activities directed by members of the Secular Branch of Spain and Portugal. The provincial of the Iberia Province, Aurelio Cayón sscc, presided at the first Eucharist and Nuria Lobo sscc, coordinator of the Territory of Spain, addressed some words to the group at the end of the mass.
In order to follow the development of this meeting which will end on Saturday the 29th with the presence of the General Superiors, the members of the Secular Branch have opened a blog, with a link from within the website of the Congregation.
