The canonical visit to the Province of Germany is over. From March 11 t0 28, Alberto Toutin and Felipe Lazcano have been present and have discussed with the 4 communities in the province (Werne , Münster , Koblenz ; Arnstein) and the brothers who, for various reasons, live alone. They also traveled to Charleroi (Belgium) where are living two brothers members of the German province.
On Friday 28, in the morning took place a meeting with the Provincial Government and in the afternoon the final assembly. The visitors , among other guidelines , have invited the brothers to not fall into the temptation of a “resigned realism " - whose signs are a withdrawal on themselves, a paralyzing perplexity in face of the present and a practical atheism- but to live an “evangelical realism”, grateful for the past, vigilant in the present and open with confidence to the future .
The province is living a period of serenity and want to face the coming years improving the quality of the community life and to do the discernment of which apostolic presence may have more future for mission of the Congregation in Germany.
