Reparative dimension of the adoration
The two general governments have gathered in Nursia, from July 9 to 12, to deepen and reflect on the reparative dimension of our adoration. They lodged at the convent of the Benedictine nuns and shared with the monastic community the prayer and the Eucharist.
The themes of reflection, well prepared by Alberto, led to share their own experience and gave hints to renew and rediscover some aspects of the reparative dimension of the adoration, so characteristic of our spirituality. There was time for all: to pray in the monastic style, to reflect and to share and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, all in a relaxed atmosphere.
On day 11, the feast of St. Benedict, Javier presided at the Eucharist, giving a congregational touch to the celebration. The meeting ended on the 12th, celebrating Mass in the crypt of the Basilica of San Benito where, according to tradition, were born Benedict and Scholastica.
