After the previous days, where different presentations took place - the report of the General Government; the reality of the provinces, regions or delegations; and Brother Hervé's meditation; there was then a personal space for reflection and prayer on this parable of the Good Samaritan, with these questions as a backdrop:
-
What gift can I offer?
-
As a Congregation, what gift can we offer?
-
What gift do I need most?
-
As a Congregation, what gift do we need most?
In the afternoon, the linguistic groups met again for a conversation around these questions. The following steps for this part were proposed as follows:
-
Firstly: listen to each brother's answers. Let each one answer each question. After these presentations and in a period of silence, each person then reflects on what resonated most with them, from what they have heard in the group.
-
Secondly, we share what resonated with us the most from what we have heard in the group. What has affected each one the most?
-
Thirdly, search together in the group for what seems to be the gifts that we can offer, and receive, as an ss.cc international missionary body, in order to be useful to the Church and thus collaborate with the action of God.
Each secretary will write down the reflections and submit them to the group for approval. After this was completed, each of the five language groups ended this part of the day with a time of prayer.
