The sisters of the Ecuador-Colombia Territory celebrated a Mass to send off our sister Norma Naula, whom the General Government has asked to collaborate in the Poitiers Project in France. This celebration was presided over by our brother Hilar Loyaga, SS.CC., and took place in the community of San José de Rumipamba, Quito, Ecuador. Sisters from different communities in the territory, their parents and relatives were in attendance. Norma, with an open attitude, availability and apostolic courage, has said, ‘Here I am, Lord,’ making real the sense of belonging and internationality that our founders left us. May they accompany our sister Norma to live her vocation and mission with love, passion and joy in this new service entrusted to her.
The sisters of the Ecuador-Colombia territory, in a fraternal and family gesture, say to her together with the Good Mother: ‘A hundred leagues away, or ten thousand, we will never be far apart: the bonds that unite us know no distance’ (B.M.).
