Eric Hernout sscc, French brother belonging to the province of Chile, was ordained on Saturday 29 at the historic Church of the Sacred Hearts of Valparaiso (Chile).
He received the ordination of Mgr. Gonzalo Duarte García de Cortázar sscc, bishop of Valparaiso, accompanied by Javier Prado sscc, emeritus bishop of Rancagua.
A beautiful celebration in which about 40 priests concelebrated, including Alex Vigueras sscc, provincial of Chile, and Christian Malrieu sscc, provincial France. Numerous sscc sisters and members of the SSCC Secular Branch have also participated in the Mass of ordination.
Two aunts of Eric came from France to attend the ordination, as well as some members of the SSCC Secular Branch of Meaux (France).
On Sunday, the first of Advent, Eric celebrates his first Mass in the parish of "Jesús Misionero" in Viña del Mar, one of the places where Eric serves.
