On the morning of Saturday, November 18, at St. Anne's parish in Kaneohe (Oahu, Hawaii), Jeremy Sabugo sscc was ordained a priest by Bishop Jean-Pierre Cottanceau sscc, archbishop of Papetee (Tahiti, French Polynesia).
Numerous sscc brothers participated in the ordination, since the Provincial Chapter is taking place in Hawaii. Also a significant group of SCCS sisters and members of the Secular Branch. Jeremy's family was present, some of them traveling from the Philippines. However, his father could not attend because he was hospitalized and in fact undergoing surgery at the same time the ordination was celebrated.
Jeremy celebrated his first Mass on Sunday the 19th in the parish of Saint Michel, in Waialua (Oahu), which is administered by the Congregation, and from where Jeremy comes.
Father Jeremy will leave for the sscc region of the USA, West, to integrate into the community of La Verne, where he will serve in the parish of the Holy Name of Mary.
