On March 13, the Assembly of the Pacific/USA-Asia Zone began with the theme: "Together Be Bread for the World. During the opening Eucharist, presided by Pankras Olak Kraeng sscc, provincial of Indonesia, we deepened on three words: together-women-bread, relating them to the readings of the day.

Irene Barboza, ss.cc, Superior Delegate of the Zone, welcomed the participants and introduced the theme in a very creative way: each one received some flour (representing who we are), to gather it and make bread. A bread that we all received and shared. It was an enlightening and motivating experience. To complete the motivation, we reflected on the life of Carlo Acutis and his effort to share his Eucharistic experience.
Then, each country forming the Zone shared how they are bread for the world in their respective places. The Assembly will continue until Friday 17, sharing the challenges, joys, and orientations for the present and future. There will also be time to share the work of the different commissions: Youth and Vocation Ministry, Initial Formation, Ongoing Formation and Mission, programming a new roadmap for the next period.
