Opening a "Holy Door" in Polanica Zrdój, Poland (Brs)

The "Holy Door" of Christ the King parish was opened on Sunday, December 13, which is located in "Christus Rex", the mother house of the Province of Poland.

The bishop of the diocese of Swidnicki, Mgr. Ignacy Dec, asked the brothers to have this "holy door" opened, so that this Year of Mercy can be lived more intensely by all the people living in the surrounding area, within the radius of 50 kms.

The emphasis of this initiative is on adoration and forgiveness, in line with the SSCC vocation. So, this year, there will be two daily one-hour adoration: one from 3 to 4 in the afternoon, and another one from 8 to 9 in the evening, this latter one is made available with working people in mind.

Behind this there are two objectives. On the one hand to offer a service for the local people, and on the other, for our own sscc family, to deepen our vocation of adoration and the ministry of forgiveness. In fact, it has been our charism that led the bishop to ask for the opening of the Holy Door.
