A new group of 14 candidates has begun their journey toward joining the sscc Secular Branch in the Batam Area, Indonesia. They gathered on May 16, 2025, at the provincial house in Bengkong for their first formation session, led by Fr. Pankrasius Olak Kraeng sscc, Indonesian Provincial.
The session began with Eucharistic adoration, introducing the candidates to the spiritual heart of the SSCC mission. Fr. Pankrasius shared the historical roots of the Congregation from the Secular Branch perspective, highlighting how the movement of reparative adoration emerged during the French Revolution through laywomen who sought healing through prayer rather than politics.
The gathering also featured testimonies from new candidates, who shared their personal motivations. One came through a friend, another simply wanted to explore the community, and another felt called after years of familiarity.
