On 14 and 15 February, at the sisters' house in San Lorenzo de El Escorial, the 8 superiors and 7 superioresses of the communities of Spain gathered for their annual meeting.
The organisers asked the Superior and the Superior General to participate in order to help them to welcome the decisions of the General Chapters held last September. Alberto Toutin and Patricia Villaroel emphasised how the evangelising dialogue with young people represents a priority for the mission of the Congregation for these years. Based on a reading of the encyclical Dilexit Nos, they invited us to take up the challenge of fraternity and reparation. Finally, they reflected on the impact on the Congregation of the Synod on Synodality. Two calls: to evaluate our leadership and to carry out apostolic discernments that also draw from our spiritual tradition.
