On June 11 and 12, the national meeting of SSCC laity took place in our house in Pindamonhangaba. 55 were present, coming from our communities in Catuji, Campo Grande, Tijuca, Belo Horizonte, Formosa, Patrocinio, Vila Prudente, Ferraz de Vasconcelos and Pindamonhangaba.
The meeting was coordinated by Fr. Geraldo Abilio Ribeiro sscc, the brother of the province responsible to accompany the laity, and he was assisted by Fr. Felix Mota Elcio sscc.
The topics covered were the laity in the Church and their mission, SSCC charism and spirituality, and the first steps to a project of SSCC laity in Brazil. Thus, the meeting aimed to resume the path that lay SSCC has been following for years in a more coordinated way and also to start new groups of SSCC laity.
Highlight moments were the celebration of the Eucharist, prayer and adoration. The meetings were pleasant and genuinely fraternal
