We have started the meeting of economes of CIAL on 18th July 2014 in Rio, Brasil. The participants are: Arnaldo Jara (Paraguay), Guillermo Rosas (Chile), Luis Alberto Pineda (Colombia), Nilo Pinzón (Ecuador), Nurmy Valerio García (Mexico), Paulino Colque (Peru), Sergio Stein (Brasil), Camille Sapu and Raja Sebastian (Rome).
Vinicius Maciel (CIAL coordinator) inviting the Lord to be with us, introduced the activities of the day and house facilities. We then started presenting the provincial, vice-provincial, regional financial report. We are happy to see the finance report try to integrate all communities’ reports in the common report. We have also learned together about the categories of our common report and how to prepare a budget.
With the major superiors, we have discussed two topics: budget and transparency. We have stressed the need to have a budget in each community, to help us to manage our resources; to report better and to be more transparent.
We enjoyed a lot the beautiful nature of Rio and good hospitality. Thanks to all!
