A special meeting of brothers coordinators of Vocation Ministry and Initial Formation in Europe is taking place at the General House. The idea of this meeting came at the previous meeting of the CEA (Conference Europe and Africa). The main objective is to reflect on the situation of vocation ministry (VM) in Europe and its connection with the Initial Formation (IF).
The participants are Marek Kosendiak (VM) and Sebastian Pieczeniak (IF) of Poland; Pedro Gordillo (VM), Leopoldo Antolin (IF) and Enrique Losada (provincial) of Iberia; Serge Gougbemon (VM), Christian Flottes (IF) and Christian Malrieu (provincial) of France; and Pearse Mullen and Derek Laverty (provincial and coordinator of the CEA) of Ireland -England.
They have received input from two experts, they have shared what is being done in vocational ministry and the aim to find some orientations to continue working in the future.
The meeting began on Tuesday 7 January at 7 pm, and will conclude on Saturday 11 January 2014.
