On Saturday, December 9, Fr. Tomasz Pawlukowski sscc, parochial vicar in Owinska, who is responsible for the altar boys in that area, organized a "desert day". On this occasion the meeting took place in Kicin. There were 38 altar boys.
The "desert day" was led by Fr. Kamil Wawro sscc, novice master, who took the two novices with him: David and Michael. At the beginning there was an Adoration and time for confession. After that came the Mass, with a homily on the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Later there was time for tea and cookies and then we worked in small groups.
Seeing how to work with young people was a very good experience for the novices. They also had the opportunity to lead the small groups. For us, as SSCC, it was a good opportunity to promote our Congregation among young people.
