On April 9, Alfred J. Bell sscc, our procurator, postulator and local econome, celebrated his 50th anniversary of religious life. The community of Via Rivarone, along with the 4 sisters from Via Aurealia who were in Rome on this day, gathered to celebrate the Eucharist, presided by Alfred, and to share a meal together.
Alfred spoke of his journey in religious life and focused on three words: gratitude, forgiveness and grace.
During intercession we also remembered Hans-Ulrich Willms sscc who made his profession together with Alfred, back in 1964 at the Kloster Arnstein, Germany.
On Thursday April 10, Alfred concelebrated Mass with Pope Francis at Santa Marta, Vatican City.
