For the past four days, heavy rainfall has continued to pour over North Sumatra, resulting in flooding in several areas across the region. This situation has affected two parishes served by the SSCC: St. Joseph Parish in Lawedesky, Aceh, and St. Paul Parish in Pulo Brayan, Bengkel Medan.
Our SSCC community in Medan has opened its doors to those affected by the flooding. Many people have come to take shelter in the church as they wait for conditions to improve in their homes.
Let us unite in prayer for North Sumatra.
