Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace together with Catholic Relief Services has arranged a seminar on "Investing for the Poor: How impact investing can serve the common good in the light of Evangelii Gaudium" on 16 - 17 June 2014. The pope has addressed the group directly inviting us to use the wealth to serve the poor. He has also met us individually.

The seminar invites us to do social impact on our every work (investment, projects, etc) with the poor. We need to measure our charitable works and make them sustainable. These two days we had so many talks on what is impact investing?, looking into the investing models of healthcare, education, environmental issues, agricultural livelihoods, water and so on. How do we listen to the poor in our charitable works and make them partner in contributing social welfare!
