In a spirit of gratitude and joy, the Brazil Province of the Sacred Hearts is preparing a grand celebration to commemorate 100 years since the Congregation's first foundation in the country and the arrival of Blessed Eustáquio van Lieshout, SS.CC., in Brazil. The event will take place from August 28 to September 4, 2025, in the city of Belo Horizonte (MG), and will bring together religious brothers and sisters, members of the Secular Branch, and collaborators from the Congregation's works from various countries.
The celebrations will include moments of spirituality, fellowship, historical remembrance, art, and formation, highlighting the missionary legacy of Blessed Eustáquio, a figure of great popular devotion. Among the key events are the liturgical feast of Blessed Eustáquio (August 30), the International Symposium "Health and Peace" (beginning on September 1), as well as various cultural and educational activities through September 4.
Participants will be welcomed in the Padre Eustáquio neighborhood, a historic place marked by the presence and mission of the Blessed. Belo Horizonte, the host city of the event, is located in the southeastern region of Brazil.
