The visit to the Community of Pereira took place from 17 to 21 March. In this Community are Sisters Marianita de Jesús Jácome, María Olga Ramírez, Mariela Giraldo, Berta Córdoba and Cristina Ángel. Libia Rosa Bañol, from the community of Las Mesas, was also present.
The reflection on the theme of the visit: "The women of Easter", the presentation of the community project, which clearly reflected the life and mission of the sisters and the personal meetings, were a richness because of the active participation of all and the level of spontaneous and profound sharing. We listened with joy to the commitments of the sisters in their pastoral work and visited the Kindergarten, one of the joys of the community.
On the 18th we celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Cristina Angel in the chapel that the sisters have for Sunday Eucharist, where a good group of Christians from the area gather to pray. The Eucharist was a simple and fraternal celebration where the sisters, Cristina's family, friends and acquaintances were present. As this event coincided with the canonical visitation, Cristina had the opportunity to renew her vows before Patricia Villarroel, Superior General, who also led the singing. It was an intimate celebration, sealed by a spectacular rainbow.
