From May 5 to 9, 2025, the brothers of the Province of Mexico gathered at San Damián House in Chalco, State of Mexico.
The assembly was divided into three parts. The first part was a retreat led by Sister María Esther Guillén, a Carmelite Missionary of Saint Teresa, who, using various biblical and spiritual texts, helped us enter into the dynamic of Restructuring as a path of the Holy Spirit. It was a time of attentive listening to the Spirit’s movements, inviting us to a life in harmony with the Gospel and open to Hope.
The second part of the Assembly was a day of fraternity among the brothers, lived through games, songs, and a movie.
The third part focused on following up on the decisions of our XVII Provincial Chapter, held under the theme “Recovering the charismatic identity and prophetic dimension of the mission.” It was a time of fraternal dialogue and listening, where we shared our current reality and discussed possible scenarios for our restructuring.
We trust that the Spirit will continue to blow strongly so that, in the coming months, we may keep reshaping this presence that seeks to faithfully respond to Jesus' call and thus continue proclaiming God's love in the communities we serve.
