On Tuesday, 16 May, in the Parish of Nossa Senhora do Desterro, in Campo Grande (Brazil), a celebration of the Eucharist took place to mark the 25th anniversary of priestly ordination of Ricardo Gomes da Silva sscc.
Osvânio Humberto Mariano sscc, Provincial, and several confreres of the Congregation were present as was Geraldo Marques Raimundo, a Diocesan priest, who had guided Fr. Ricardo towards religious life. During the homily, Fr Ricardo recalled his vocational journey with a brief “looking back”. It was a rich and fruitful moment that inspired and encouraged the brothers and the community.
At the end of the mass, the brothers paid him a short tribute and congratulated him on his twenty-five years of ordination to the priesthood. Most of the brothers present were former students of Ricardo's, and remarked on his humility and dedication to the Congregation.
