On Saturday, 21 January, Deacon Joaquín Molina Quicaña sscc was ordained priest by Bishop Juan José Salaverry Villarreal op, auxiliary bishop of Lima. The ordination took place in the chapel of the Sacred Hearts School, the "Recoleta" in La Molina - Lima. Joaquín was accompanied, among others, by the Provincial Superior, Hilvar Loyaga. At the end of the celebration, the bishop knelt down and asked for the blessing of the new priest.
On Sunday, 22 January, Joaquín celebrated his first Mass in the SSCC-Recoleta Parish in Lima, taking into account the unstable situation the country is going through at the moment.
